The Customer Plant Support (CPS) division of Air Products is a dedicated organization, unique in the industry, focused on providing services and spare parts to customers who own and operate their own industrial gas plants. This services organization is staffed with full time personnel at offices located in the U.S., U.K., Japan, and China, and provides a full complement of services to customers who own and operate industrial gas plants built by Air Products, or any manufacturer, around the clock and around the world. The team's only job is to resolve customer problems, with solutions that emphasize safety, reliability, and operating efficiency. Air Products has designed and built over 1,200 facilities and operates over 300 process plants in over 30 countries. This experience is applied to the customer owned air separation facilities to provide services such as engineering studies, emergency services for operation or equipment repair, performance and safety audits, preventive maintenance services, plant upgrades and modifications, instrumentation services, operator training, and moth-balling programs.
We have formal services programs such as an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Services program as well as a Technical Services Package (TSP) Program. The O&M program allows the buyer to own the plant with Air Products operating and maintaining it for you. The TSP program is an offering where Air Products can provide technical support for the facility during its operating lifetime. This offering ensures that the local staff has the training, support and advice that is necessary to maximize safety, on-stream time, operating costs, and reliability of the facility.
