Liquid sulfur produced in a Claus plant contains significant quantities of dissolved H2S and H2Sx that poses significant health and flammability risks during storage, loading and transport. Air Products through its subsidiary Goar, Allison provides a leading sulfur degassing technology, D'GAASS for reducing the content of H2S in liquid sulfur to under 10 ppm. This technology has been licensed at over 90 plants worldwide. GAA provides a complete process design package for implementation of this technology, including providing detailed modular designs for quicker and more economical installation.
