Today's ozone generation standard is 10% by weight. As much as 90% of the feed oxygen (LOX or pipeline O2) into ozone generation processes remains unconverted and is eventually vented to the atmosphere.
 Air Products' SLR system can recover and recycle greater than 70% of the unconverted oxygen, thus significantly lowering your oxygen costs.
Advantages of the SLR include:
- Reduces oxygen usage in large ozone facilities (>1500 lb. O3/day)
- Reduces dissolved oxygen residual in treated water
- Options to increase ozone concentration to your application
- Options to change the carrier gas from the traditional oxygen to air which may be of benefit to your process
- Applicable to both new plants and retrofits
