Air Products Sponsors the Pune FLO Half Marathon by FICCI FLO to Demonstrate Its Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
Air Products (NYSE: APD), a world-leading global industrial gases company with substantial operations in India is supporting the Pune Half Marathon organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organization, to be held on 28 October 2018. Extending its ongoing commitment towards promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and providing gainful platforms for the advancement of women, the company is supporting the run for women empowerment as a Silver Sponsor. Through this annual event, the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) aims to create an environment which celebrates the empowerment of women and encourages increasing employment and entrepreneurship.
The Pune Half Marathon, now in its fourth year and the flagship event of the FICCI FLO, which is the largest women organisation in Asia, has experienced phenomenal success. With over 7,000 participants last year, runners included senior executives from corporations, women entrepreneurs, professional runners and home makers alike.

Since 2009, Air Products has expanded its industrial gas operations and supply presence in India as an engineering company. From an engineering centre based in Pune, the company provides technology and equipment for air separation, hydrogen generation and associated technologies for industrial gases applications.
Air Products has recently signed a long-term agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to build, own and operate a new syngas production facility at the BPCL Kochi Refinery in India.
